Riley Howlett is the owner of Lonsdale Leather in Vancouver, BC, a company with over 30 years of history supplying premium materials to the fashion, film, and design industries. With a background in footwear and fashion design, Riley has studied and worked in Italy, California, and Peru, bringing a global perspective to his work. Since taking over the business in 2015, he has expanded Lonsdale Leather into a leading destination for high-quality leathers, tools, and education, including a growing shoemaking school. Riley is passionate about craftsmanship, community, and preserving traditional skills while pushing innovation in materials and design.
